On stageAnglesey U3A has a thriving group of theatre goers and over the past years we have enjoyed many productions at theatres in Llandudno, Mold, Manchester and Liverpool. We always travel by coach, the show is always a matinee and most people like to avail themselves of on-site lunch facilities where possible, though some prefer to combine the trip with shopping and grab a quick snack somewhere along the way.
THEATRE VISITS
Gillian Slinn is proposing the following theatre trips.
Unfortunately, due to the increased price in Coach Hire, we may need to arrange car-share to travel to and from the theatres.
Wed 4th February at Chester Story House – The Signalman (adapted from Dickens)
Thu 26th March at Theatre Clwyd – Under Milk Wood Wed
13th May at Theatre Clwyd – The Shawshank Redemption
Theatre VisitShows have varied from musicals, which seem to be the most popular, to ice shows, comedy, ballet and serious straight plays. An attempt is made to vary the type of productions as much as possible to try and appeal to all tastes.
