After the AGM, Denise presented flowers to Rachel Johnson who was stepping down from Social Secretary, and to Barbara Hulme who had been taking the Committee Minutes in the absence of a secretary. Thanking them for their continued support.
Important announcement:-
There will be no Film Club meetings during the summer months.
The room hire rate from April 2026 means that we need at least 10 paying film goers every screening to break even.
If this number cannot be maintained, the Film Club will cease.

REMEMBRANCE
In October 2025, we lost a long-standing member Eric Williams.
Our condolences go out to Eric’s family and friends.
PROPOSED VISIT TO LLANGOLLEN
2-hour canal trip to include crossing Pontcysyllte aqueduct – depending on a sufficient number being interested.
Date - tba mid June. Cost - £40 - £50 depending on numbers.
