What is the u3a

U3A is a growing UK wide self-help organisation with nearly 500,000 members and aims to support continued learning for pleasure in a friendly environment. Membership is open to those no longer in (and not seeking) full time employment.

What does the Anglesey u3a do ?

The weekly meeting, where speakers present on a wide variety of subjects, is our main focus. It is every U3A's aim to mainly seek speakers from within the membership.

How can I join and how much will it cost ?

Our annual membership is £6.00. In addition, there is a £1 per person fee at each weekly meeting attended. This contributes to our costs including hall rental. The U3A national magazine Third Age Matters is available to members by direct mail at an additional cost of £3.60p for five copies per annum when ordered by the end of February.
